The Sydney Children's Hospital is on the grounds of  the Prince of Wales Hospital Campus, Randwick. It is a teaching hospital of the University of New South Wales. It provides a full spectrum of specialist services for children and adolescents, including a large and experienced Haematology/Oncology Unit (blood diseases and cancer).

As a teaching hospital, a team of specialist doctors look after the children by planning, discussing and implementing medical care. The specialists available include: Haematologists, Oncologists, Surgeons, Radiotherapists, Radiologists, Paediatric Immunologists and Bone Marrow Transplant Specialists. There are also paediatric Oncology Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Oncology Pharmacists, Social Workers, Psychologists, Dieticians and many other trained personnel.
